Integrative Psychiatry: Exclusive for Celebrities
Shiv Jha, MD
I'm a board-certified adult and geriatric psychiatrist offering private psychotherapy and medication management with an integrated, holistic approach. My mission is to help people live happier, more fulfilling lives.
Fame changes what good care requires.
Constant scrutiny, unpredictable schedules and a small circle you can trust make it hard to ask for help, and harder to be seen doing it. Many people also fear that seeking care will become a headline.
This practice is built around privacy first, and then around the serious, ordinary work of treating anxiety, depression, trauma, sleep, attention and substance use, and the strain of living in public.
I see actors, musicians, athletes, authors, executives, creators, and others whose work puts them in public view. If you are not sure the description fits you, ask.

My methods
Humanistic therapy
In humanistic therapy, the main focus is on a person's capacity to make rational choices and develop.
Medication management
In medication management, the focus is on using the right medication at the lowest effective dose to support your health and daily life.
Cognitive therapy
In cognitive therapy, the focus is on what people think rather than what they do.
Behavior therapy
In behavior therapy, the main focus is on learning's role in developing both normal and abnormal behaviors.
Therapy and medication, planned together.
Psychotherapy
Individual therapy for the patterns that follow you into every room, drawing on the methods above and chosen to fit you rather than a protocol.
- Performance pressure and burnout
- Identity outside the public role
- Relationships, grief and trauma
- Career change, injury and transition
Medication management
A thorough psychiatric evaluation and, when medication is right for you, careful prescribing with close follow-up. The aim is the fewest medications at the lowest effective doses, adjusted around travel, production schedules and public commitments.
- Mood, anxiety and sleep
- Attention and focus
- Substance use
- Coordination with your other physicians, with your written permission
One clinician, one plan.
Sleep, movement, nutrition and stress load matter as much as any prescription, so they are part of the plan. When the same psychiatrist sees the whole picture, you do not have to explain yourself twice.
Built so that no one has to know you were here.
- No client list, ever.
There are no testimonials, no photographs with clients and no names, on this site or anywhere else.
- No insurer in the middle.
Because the practice is self-pay, no claims are filed and no payer receives your diagnosis or visit history.
- Direct, discreet scheduling.
Appointments are arranged with you or the person you designate, around your commitments.
- Confidential by law and by design.
Your care is protected by medical confidentiality. The few legal exceptions are explained at the start, not discovered later.
Client list
Not published. Not shared. Not discussed.
How it begins
Send an inquiry
You or your representative share a name and a way to reach you. No clinical details are needed.
Introductory call
A short, private conversation to see whether the practice fits what you need.
Evaluation
A full psychiatric evaluation by secure video, where licensure allows.
Your plan
Therapy, medication management, or both, on a schedule built around your life.
Self-pay, by design.
I do not accept insurance or bill insurers. That is part of how your privacy is protected, and it lets the practice give each client the time, availability and discretion the work requires.
- Insurance
- Not accepted or billed
- Fees
- Shared privately after your inquiry
- Terms
- Scheduling and cancellation terms provided before your first session
Questions, answered plainly.
Who is this practice for?
Celebrities and public figures: people in entertainment, sport, media, business and the arts whose lives are visible to the public. If you are unsure whether that includes you, send an inquiry and ask.
Do you accept insurance?
No. The practice is self-pay only, and I do not file claims with insurers. Fees are shared privately after your inquiry.
Can my manager, assistant or attorney contact you?
Yes, for scheduling and logistics, if you authorize it in writing. I do not share clinical information with anyone without your written consent, except where the law requires it.
Are sessions held by video or in person?
Sessions are held by secure video, wherever licensure and the law permit. In rare cases, a home visit can be arranged.
What are the limits of confidentiality?
Medical confidentiality is protected by law. A small number of legal exceptions exist, such as imminent risk of serious harm. I explain them at the start of care.
Is this an emergency service?
No. If you are in crisis, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or call 911.
Start with a private inquiry.
You will hear back privately. Please leave out medical or clinical details; those are for the consultation, not for a web form or unencrypted email.
